ABOUT KATY HOXSEY
I grew up in a small town in North Idaho, raised by passionate, driven parents- my Dad was a Hop Farmer and my Mother was a homesteader and artist. I am a graduate of Cottey College and the University of Idaho for Interior Design. I am also an Army Veteran, serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom III- I know, a unexpected combination.
I am passionate about my family and design career. I co-founded Design Vim for 11 years while also building my cherished family. I founded KatyCo. in 2024 starting over from experience, tailoring my business and family life to focus on what's truly important and meaningful. KatyCo. functions with a mix of grit and grace.
I never get tired of brainstorming for my clients, and I never get tired of my children. I love the outdoors and traveling- I also love coming home and being great friends with my neighbors. Community is a big deal to me!
KatyCo. is a Women-Veteran owned business. Katy is NCIDQ certified, a member of Entrepreneur's Organization and a lifelong member of PEO.

Our work focuses on what lasts and what matters to you. Natural materials that gain character over time or pieces with history. Layouts that invite connection and flow, even as life keeps moving.
We design around people (and often their pets): who they are now and who they’re becoming.
